Ticket Donations
Your generous donation helps provide access for audiences that might not otherwise have the economic means to attend, such as schools and local charitable organizations. We thank you for your gift and for keeping the arts a vital and vibrant part of our community.
All donated tickets are tax-deductible for their full face value if received by the deadlines noted below. Please read the following procedures to donate your tickets.
Tickets must be received in time!
• For performances on Tuesday through Friday, the tickets to be donated must be received by the Stanford Ticket Office no later than 5:00 pm the day before the performance. For example, tickets to a Friday performance must be received by 5:00 pm Thursday.
• For performances on Saturday, Sunday, or Monday, tickets must be received by the Stanford Ticket Office no later than 5:00 pm Friday.
• Ticket donations made at the venue box office on the date of the performance are not tax-deductible.
• We cannot accept tickets for past or missed performances as a donation.
Donate by mail
• Mail the tickets with a note indicating your wish to donate your tickets to:

• You should allow at least 10 business days for the mailed tickets to reach the Stanford Ticket Office. Please note that the Stanford Ticket Office cannot be responsible for the timeliness of delivery by the postal service.
Donate by fax
• Void the tickets as follows: with a pen or dark marker write “VOID” in large letters across the front of each ticket. Cut each ticket in half. Make a photocopy or securely tape the destroyed ticket halves to a piece of paper.
• Fax the destroyed ticket(s) with a note indicating that you are donating your tickets to the Stanford Ticket Office at 650-725-6230.
Donate in person
• The Stanford Ticket Office is located on the ground floor of Tresidder Memorial Union on the Stanford University campus. Donations can be made during normal business hours: Monday–Friday, 10:00 am–5:00 pm; Saturday, noon–4:00 pm.
PLEASE NOTE:
• Tickets are not refundable.
• Tickets cannot be donated by phone or by email.
• Should you wish to exchange your tickets rather than donate them, please note the procedures for ticket exchanges. Exchanges are free for Partners of $125 and above and for Full and Mini Subscribers. For single-performance purchases, there is a $3.50-per-ticket handling charge.
