As part of Lively Arts” “Prokofiev Project” in the 2009–10 season, this student matinee features large-scale puppetry by Robin Walsh, creator of the puppets seen in “The Firebird” in 2008. The puppets serve as a three-dimensional counterpart to Sergei Prokofiev’ vivid music for Romeo and Juliet, which will be performed by the Gunn High School Orchestra. This magical performance combines music, visual art, and the spoken word.

Teacher Workshop: October 21, 2009 | 4:30—6:30 p m (note time) | Location TBA
