Stacy Youkilis

Development manager, Stacy Youkilis joined the Development Department of Stanford Lively Arts in 2006. Stacy began her career in fundraising working on the capital campaign for Walt Disney Concert Hall at the Los Angeles Philharmonic. Previously, she worked in a variety of fields, most recently at San Francisco State University where she managed several large collaborative institutional grants between San Francisco State University and the University of California, San Francisco. She received her bachelor's degree in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin where her passion was for the arts of the Northern Renaissance. She received a master's degree in Museum Studies with a focus in fundraising, management and administration from San Francisco State University. Born and raised in Dallas, Texas, the arts play an important and ever present role in her life. She studied classical dance for many years at Dallas Ballet Academy under the direction of Fleming and Vivi Flindt and also with the late Natalia Krassovska among others. She also spent several summers at Boston Ballet and Aspen Ballet summer intensive programs. She enjoys life in San Francisco with her husband, Scott who is Executive Chef and Owner of Maverick Restaurant, An American Eatery and Wine Bar. Together they share a passion about food, wine and the restaurant business and have recently collaborated on the creation of a quarterly publication titled Out of the Kitchen.
