BECOME A LIVELY ARTS USHER
Stanford Lively Arts is on the lookout for volunteer ushers for the 2008–09 season of exceptional performing arts.
Volunteer ushers are part of a team of dedicated professionals who present the best in the performing arts to the Stanford campus and community. Our season begins October 5, 2008 and continues through April 25, 2009.
As an usher you will be required to volunteer for 10 performances* throughout the season (evenings and weekends). You should be comfortable interacting with the public in a professional and courteous manner, be a team player, and have an interest in the arts. Usher duties include taking tickets, seating patrons, handing out programs, merchandise sales, and artist support.
Whether you have ushered before or this will be your first time, take advantage of this incredible opportunity to support the arts and work with a great group of campus and community ushers.
*After ushering five events you are entitled to two free tickets for any performance that is not sold out.

Usher Orientation for the 2008–09 Performing Arts Season will be on Wednesday, September 10 2008 at Memorial Auditorium from 6:00 pm–8:30 pm. Please RSVP with Bill Starr, house manager, if you will be in attendance.
