Ben Frandzel, Institutional Gifts Officer

Ben Frandzel is the Institutional Gifts Officer for Stanford Lively Arts. Before beginning this position in December, 2007, he spent three years as Managing Director of Opera Piccola, an Oakland educational theatre company. Prior to this he spent several years working as a fundraising consultant to Bay Area arts organizations. He also writes about music and the arts for a variety of publications, most frequently for the Bay Area website San Francisco Classical Voice. He has performed as a guitarist and as a member of the acclaimed ensemble Gamelan Sekar Jaya, and as a composer, he has collaborated with dance, theatre, and visual artists.
