Stanford University is located about 30 miles south of San Francisco and about 20 miles north of San Jose, in Palo Alto. The campus is between the Bayshore Freeway (101) and the Junipero Serra Freeway (280). From 101, use the Embarcadero Road exit and follow the signs to Stanford. From 280, take the Sandhill or Page Mill Road exits.
